New Beauty Purchases
New Beauty Purchases:
This post has finally showed me that I do in fact have a problem. I need an intervention. Because I spend far too much on beauty products. I honestly blame boots. You go in expecting to just buy one thing and you leave with your wallet begging for mercy.
Step in, as I take you on this magical tour :
I’m going to put this out there. I have spots. I have spots on my back and arms. It isn’t pretty but its not that bad. I’ve tried exfoliating and all that but you can’t do it everyday and it does not stop them from forming, so I was on the look out for a good face wash I could use in the shower. Its still early days and results take time to show but I have heard good things about Garnier spots products.
Boots were doing a 3 for 2 offer on soap and glory and I was in need of a body scrub after y favourite Sanctuary polish ran out and I couldn’t find it at my local boots. Luckily this stuff is amazing. First of all it smells like delicious limes which I love. Sort of like a mojito (my fave cocktail) You need to wet your skin first so the product can spread better otherwise you’ll be sandpapering off your skin. I used this before I shaved my legs and all over my body and I can tell you that my skin was so soft that babies should be worried. So, yeah it was awesome.
I have not tried this yet so cannot offer an opinion but I expect they will be great.
Lately I have been really impressed with L’oreal products especially the Micellar water (which you can read my review here) . My Clarins gel to oil cleanser has finished and I was looking for a cheap oil cleanser to replace it. Well…this is not good. Honestly it broke me out and I have a few angry spots on my forehead and cheeks. I’ve stopped using it. I’m a bit sad about it as I was really hoping I would get some great results.
Bonus! Other Stuff!
Exfoliating gloves from Poundland, Garnier 5 second blur , hair dye I did not use, Superdrug headband and a foot bath scrubber thing.
