Mini Life Update

Posted by in Personal

As you may have noticed I have not posted in quite a while. I’m not going to do the usual blogger apology then promise to keep updating and never really go through with it. I recently started a photography course which has kept me busy for most of the week but I also now have a new job. So life has suddenly got pretty hectic but I am not complaining at all. I like being busy, I like having something to do and having a purpose in life. Once I…read more

Clashing Prints

Posted by in Style

When you start a fashion blog and you want to share your style with the world you become very aware of what you are wearing. Since starting I have wanted to take more risks with what I wear, it may not be good, some of it may be great but as long as I am having fun I don’t really care. So I took a Primark shirt and old floral shorts and came up with this.       Facebook // Twitter // Instagram // Google Plus // Tumblr // Pinterest

L’oreal Micellar Water Review

Posted by in Beauty

L’oreal Micellar Water Review: Very rarely do skin care products impress me. The few that have include my clarins cleanser and others I am yet to share. L’oreal Micellar Water not only impressed me but blew me away. I picked this up in boots where it is currently a third off. Micellar waters have been very popular for a while now. It is basically an oil emulsion in water. (I believe) I did not really pay attention to the blogger hype that surrounded micellar waters because I think I am sort…read more

Green

When you see this dress you wouldn’t think it was from Primark and only cost 8 pounds. It reminds me off one of my style crushes Solange Knowles as I think she once wore something similar. You would have seen this dress in my Primark Haul Post . I kept it really simple.  A small bracelet and simple nude chunky heels.                      Dress – Primark // Shoes – Faith @ Debenhams (old) // Bracelet – Primark Facebook // Twitter // Instagram //…read more

Why Are Designer Stores So Rude?

Posted by in Opinion

Last Friday (9th August) I went to Westfield Shepherd’s bush I love going there because you can pretty much find anything you want. I was there with a friend and she was getting some things for her birthday from “the village” ; the luxury boutiques and stores that are located in the mall. I was also hoping to get myself a little treat maybe a Prada purse or Michael Kors bag. So I went into the designer stores fully expecting to purchase something and yet I was feeling unwanted and…read more

Mini Primark Haul

Posted by in Style

Primark Haul 2013: I went to the Primark at Tottenham Court Road. I find it so much better than the Oxford Street one. It’s set over many floors and it is stress free. I picked up a few things that will carry me through from the summer and through to autumn. Jewelry:   Gold Spiked Chain £3  I am sort of obsessed with spiked chains right now and this is my fourth purchase. They just make an outfit that little bit edgier. This one is a bit dainty and it was…read more

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Review

Posted by in Beauty

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Review I went to John Lewis Milton Keynes a few weeks ago for a little bit of shopping and as always I was  drawn to the beauty counters. I have been looking for a new foundation for a while. One that will be my staple, covers beautifully and is the right tone. I knew Lancôme have some really good options for people with dark skin, the lady at the counter was really helpful she tried out a few shades on me and recommended “Teint Idole…read more
